Planning Use Clarification: The property was advertised by Savills as Class F1 (place of worship). During due diligence, planning classification records were reviewed and clarification was sought based on Sutton Council stating is as class F2. (possibly F1 - dependant). The vendors Planner, through Savills, re-asserted over email the property's F1 status and confirmed that it has been used as a church for many years. The F1 classification was also displayed during the online auction process. Following this clarification, the trustees resolved to proceed with the purchase. If required, and subject to proper process and any necessary approvals, the trustees intend to pursue appropriate planning permissions or variations in due course to regularise a mixed F1/F2 use consistent with the charity's objectives and long-term vision for the Mandir – Community Centre.
